23-27 September 2019, Lee Abbey - Faith and the Future of the Countryside - This conference will explore the rapidly changing face of the countryside in England and the role that the Church can play in shaping it. Drawing on the experience and insights of the delegates, it will provide an opportunity to think together about a wide range of rural subjects, including the environment, agriculture and leisure. In addition there will be input designed to offer spiritual refreshment for the participants. Bookings:

12th October 2019 - 10 am to 1 pm followed by shared lunch, Teign Valley Community Hall, Christow. "A Year of Rural Worship: God in Farm, Field and Village" - a DCRF workshop in conjunction with the Farming Community Network, Growing the Rural Church, Diocese of Exeter Worship, Prayer and Spirituality Group. Develop a seasonal calendar of worship opportunities focused on the farming year, special nature days, family and community celebrations and festivals; receive input from the FCN on their special worship events, share ideas and create new ones and gather together shared resources. March 2020 - DCRF visit to the Arla Factory North Tawton - date and details to follow. The milk from Dairyfield Farm (our April 2019 farm visit) is sent to Arla for processing - so we will really be able to follow the process from field to factory.

5th August 2020 - 2.30 pm - DCRF Farm Visit at Rhude Farm near Holsworthy. This visit will focus on the "nursery" side of dairy farming as we see the new calves and tour the farm.
