Health and Nature - A Collaborative Approach

Bookmark and Share

Andy Bell of the North Devon Biosphere Partnership says "there is a disconnect between us and nature - this is bad for us and bad for the environment - if we address this we can imporve both".

You can see Andy's presentation, given at the May 4th 2018 North Devon netowrking day held at Umberleigh, here

The presentation brings together themes of people living life fully and care for and appreciation of creation - both themes that we think about often in our churches. If any ideas in the presentation suggest ideas as to how we, as churches, can help people to connect more with nature as part of our ongoing ministry, perhaps through prayer or awareness walks, churchyard wildlife projects, open air celebrations and social events and perhaps how we can work in partnership with the Biosphere and other agencies to help as many people as possible enjoy our beutiful world, why not get in touch at the usual email address info@devonchurchesruralforum.org.uk
