The meeting of the DCRF on 2nd July 2019.
Professor Michael Winter will speak to his report “Changing Food Cultures: Challenges and Opportunities for UK Agriculture”. We will also be joined by Rev’d Mark Betson (our new C of E national Rural Officer).The meeting will be followed by an opportunity to continue conversation and fellowship over a pub lunch at The Old Thatch Inn, Cheriton Bishop.

Two visits are planned for 2020 - in March (date to be finalised) we visit the Arla Factory at North Tawton (field to farm as the milk from Dairyfield farm is sent to Arla for processing), and a visit to Rhude Farm near Holsworthy on August 5th to focus on the nursery side of daity farming as we see the new calves and tour the farm.
